  • 1 box Banza Penne
  • 3 slices bacon, chopped
  • 6 oz Brussel sprouts
  • 1 medium shallot
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  1. Bring pot of salted water to a rolling boil and add penne, stir occasionally. Save 1/2 cup pasta water before straining.
  2. As pasta cooks, put chopped bacon in sauce pot on medium-high for 6-7 mins
  3. Add Brussels sprouts to fat in pot. Cover and cook 6 mins (do not stir). Reduce heat to medium. Add shallot and golden raisins. Cook 2 mins, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add white wine; cook 2 mins, scraping up browned bits. To sprouts, add bacon, cooked pasta and reserved pasta water and serve.
